Shae Miller was selected as the Employee of the Month for October 2015. Shae works
at South Central Regional Medical Center as a Billing Supervisor in the Pharmacy. She
has been employed with South Central Regional Medical Center for 15 years. When
asked what she likes best about working for South Central, Shae said, “being part of a
wonderful healthcare organization. Although healthcare can be challenging at times,
it is also very rewarding.”

Shae attended Heidelberg Academy, Jones County Junior College and is a graduate
of the University of Southern Mississippi. She is married to Joel Miller and they have one
daughter, Emma. Shae said her proudest moments in life were the birth of her daughter
and receiving one of The Chronicle’s “Heroes Among Us” awards.

In her free time, Shae enjoys volunteering with community organizations and watching
her daughter play soccer.

When asked who in the organization has influenced her desire to strive for excellence, she
stated, “throughout the years, many individuals have made a positive impact in my life.”
