Pediatric Dysphasia occurs when children have difficulty swallowing, and South Central Regional Medical Center has a comprehensive Dysphasia program, which treats individuals of all ages who have the disorder. Speech Language Pathologist Alex O’Neal says children can have difficulty swallowing for a variety of reasons. Pediatric Dysphasia should be treated as soon as it is noticed.
