Children ages eight to seventeen say they worry about doing well in school, getting into good colleges, and their family’s finances. They also report suffering from headaches, sleeplessness, and upset stomachs. Fortunately, Brett Cutrer, a therapist at South Central Regional Medical Center, says that behavioral health counselors can help. He states that children can go through many types of traumas. He not only helps children with their traumas, but also helps the children’s relationship with their parents, especially with blended families. He states that sometimes, people just need someone to talk to one time, while others need more time.
