Emily Kilpatrick, RN, is an Intensive Care Unit nurse at South Central Regional Medical Center. As a part of her job, she cares for many different types of patients. Emily states, “Providing patient care is one of the most rewarding gifts of my life. Nursing has allowed me to care for parents as they prepare to bring new life into the world, journey with them from the brink of death to recovery, and provide loving comfort to the dying and their loved ones in their final hours. It is truly an honor to share these private, exquisite moments with people.”

Emily feels that care and compassion go hand-in-hand with nursing at SCRMC. “My work family truly puts the patients’ best interest at heart, our team members care for one another and our leaders are compassionate. Our ICU features state of the art equipment and together we strive to be the best that we can be.”
