South Central Regional Medical Center is always updating technology and services. Dwayne Brown, the director of radiology, says that most recently they have added new technology to increase their imaging capabilities. In breast imaging, they have added a digital mammogram, an ABUS, three new ultrasounds, two high-definition ultrasound units used for total body imaging, and a unit that contains FibroScan. South Central Regional Medical Center has also renovated their MRI suite. They are also planning on renovating and adding to the emergency department.
