SCRMC HealthBreak | Grant Saxton, MD and Flu Vaccine

Posted on October 8, 2018

Pediatricians can make a big difference in the lives of children. South Central Regional Medical Center is now welcoming home a new pediatrician, Dr. Grant Saxton, to care for the children in our community. There’s a lot of charm with the town of Laurel. Dr. Saxton wanted to be a doctor from an early age and was inspired by his own pediatrician to follow the same path. The goal is to keep kids healthy. One way parents can do that is by getting their children the flu vaccine. I get them for myself and I would recommend them to anybody who is eligible. The flu vaccine is recommended annually for everyone six months of age and older. Dr. Saxton welcomes the opportunity to talk with parents and answer their questions about the vaccine.

To schedule an appoint with Dr. Saxton, call Laurel Pediatric Clinic at 601.649.3520. And for more information, visit scrmc.com.
