Spring was selected as the Employee of the Month for August 2019. She is an Inpatient and Outpatient Physical Therapist and has been employed by South Central Regional Medical Center for 19 years.

Spring said, “I love the job and the patients I am able to help. I also feel like I work with my extended family – with wonderful coworkers.”

Spring attended Jennings High School in Jennings, Louisiana. She graduated from physical therapy school at LSU in New Orleans. Spring is married to James Walters and they have 2 daughters, Elaina and Sabrina. Spring said the proudest moments of her life are when her children accepted Christ as their Savior.

In her free time, Spring enjoys caring for her children and their hobbies. Her favorite books are the Bible and murder mysteries. Her favorite TV show is Criminal Minds and her favorite movie is Tombstone.

When asked who at SCRMC has influenced her to strive for excellence, Spring said, “my patients have always been my biggest motivator – to help them get back their function after an injury or surgery. My coworkers also push me and challenge me.”
