The 9th annual South Central Classic 5K was held on Saturday, September 20th at Gardiner Park in Downtown Laurel. This 5K was to raise awareness and funds for the American Heart Association. Sponsors for the South Central Classic included: Holifield Pest Management, Jones County Junior College, Sanderson Farms, Miles Pool Supply, Headrick Signs, Bancorp South and Community Bank
