South Central Health Care Foundation is hosting

a Sporting Clays Fundraiser on Friday, October 20, 2023.

Make plans to join us!

We are excited to announce our inaugural fundraiser event with Bar 3 Range, South Central Health Care Foundation Sporting Clays. This event will include a competitive clay shoot, refreshments, a duck drop, door prizes and more! Grab your shotgun and register today!

The mission of the South Central Health Care Foundation is to provide medical, financial and educational assistance to members of our community who are limited with resources. By hosting fundraisers, we are able to provide educational programs such as Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery, newborn education for all mothers, mental health education for children. We also offer free community health and wellness screenings at residential centers, school districts and community centers.

It is important to note that all resources are provided to local community members. By participating in this event, you are contributing to the health and wellness of those living in our community. Lives are saved as a result of your effort. Our purpose is simple: to bring hope and healing to those we touch.

The event will feature two flights – Morning shoot at 9:00 AM and Afternoon shoot at 1:00 PM. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. for each flight. The event will be held at Bar 3 Range in Laurel, MS. Total team registration is $625.

South Central Health Care Foundation is dedicated to offering quality healthcare services and education for our community.

Established in 1992, the Foundation’s purpose is to inspire charitable giving that advances South Central Regional Medical Center’s pursuit of excellence in serving patients and their families. This is achieved by providing healthcare services and educational resources through health screenings, support groups, community assistance and healthcare educational opportunities.

With support from our generous donors, in the past year we were able to:

  • Provide financial assistance for Hospice and Home Health patients. This included utility payments, nourishment purchases, medical equipment and household assistance.
  • Offer education to community members. This included: Parkinson’s community education event, newborn education for mothers, mental health education for children and tobacco cessation treatment for adults.
  • Arrange community health and wellness screenings. This included: our annual community wide health fair, monthly screenings at Laurel Housing Authority Residential Centers, quarterly cholesterol screenings, sports physicals for local private and public school districts and participation in various community events.

South Central Health Care Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization allowing contributions to be tax deductible.
