Infertility in Women

Posted on June 8, 2015

Eleven percent of women ages fifteen to forty-four are infertile. Rebecca Robert, DO , OB/GYN says that couples or females under the age of thirty-five trying to get pregnant for twelve consecutive months without contraception and women over the age of thirty-five trying for six months without contraception possibly suffer from infertility. There are many things women can do before visiting a primary physician. One of which is downloading a menstrual app. This will allow women to keep up with their cycle and when they are ovulating. Knowing if you have the approximate twenty-eight day cycle in conjunction with an ovulation kit is key. This will also help in letting you know the best time to have intercourse. Remember, women are not the only source of the problem when it comes to infertility. It is important for men to get screened as well.
