ComfortCare Hospice

Posted on August 31, 2015

Research shows that many terminally-ill patients and their family members do not decide to contact hospice until the last week or so of the patient’s life, when they could have had help and support from the hospice team for several months.  ComfortCare Hospice provides in-home care for terminally-ill patients and their family 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Annette Kenney felt that the ComfortCare Hospice team that cared for her late husband was part of the family.  Mallorie Kitchens, one of the nurses that cared for Charles, stated that “I felt like this is honestly my calling.  Whenever I am out in the home, I get to build a relationship, and it’s more on a one-on-one basis.”
