Community Blood Drive at Wellness Center and SCRMC August 3-5

South Central Regional Medical Center and United Blood Services will host a community Blood Drive on Wednesday, August 3rd, at the Wellness Center from 10:30 am to 3 pm, Thursday, August 4th, at South Central Regional Medical Center from 7 am to 6 pm and Friday, August 5^th, from 9 am to 5 pm at South Central Regional Medical Center.

O-negative is called the universal blood type because patients of all blood types can safely receive it.  O-negative donors are vital to United Blood Services blood supply.  If you are 0-negative or if you know someone that is, please consider donating at the SCRMC Community blood drive on August 3^rd, 4^th or 5^th.

In an effort to keep blood donors wait as short as possible, United Blood Services offers appointment donation times. To schedule an appointment, please visit bloodhero.com (Sponsor Code: SCRMC) or contact Bonnie Smith at 601-426-4704.  If you are unable to schedule an appointment, walk-ins are always accepted.
