South Central Regional Medical Center is proud to welcome Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Quality, Dr. Thomas Dobbs.

Dr. Dobbs is excited to be back home to take on this new role.  Dr. Dobbs states, “When people come to the hospital, we want them to get the best service, we want them to go home healthy, we want to prevent any necessary, avoidable complications, and then when they get home we want to make sure they can continue that progress and not have to come back into the hospital and that they can resume normal, productive lives.”

Dr. Dobbs also speaks about how SCRMC has grown.  It has added new clinics under the umbrella and introduced robotic surgery and other technologies to provide not only the best healthcare, but also the best delivery.
