The OB-GYN doctors at South Central Regional Medical Center now use diVinci robots.  OB-GYN doctor Rebecca Roberts explains that the robot allows the surgeon to see a more 3 dimensional view of the internal anatomy.  Some advantages of using this robot are decreased use of post operative narcotics and decreased length of stay in the hospital.  Dr. Roberts says, “..I think it offers a nice benefit in a small community.”
