According to Karen Vanderslice, Community Education Coordinator at SCRMC, “A healthy community is a prosperous community.”
South Central Regional Medical Center is hosting a large community health fair this Thursday, January 19, which is free to the public, at South Central Place. Free health screenings will be available, and will include cholesterol, blood pressure, blood glucose, BMI, color blindness, height, and weight, and will additionally include a sleep apnea assessment.
There will also be a “brown bag review” on medications, where the hospital registered pharmacist will go over medications to make sure everything is in compliance.
