Dr. Diego Fernandez moved to Laurel after competing his training in anesthesiology in New York.  He is pleased with the health care facilities, health care staff, employees, and the advanced medical technology at South Central Regional Medical Center.  He and his wife also think Laurel is the perfect place for their family, which includes three boys.  He is happy to work alongside Dr. Keith Fisher, who has directed the anesthesia program for many years.  Dr. Fernandez could have selected another community after looking at opportunities throughout the United States during the interview process, but Laurel was the perfect fit.
