About twenty percent of Americans report some degree of hearing loss, and the percentages rise as people age. DaLynn Lindsey explains that he had severe hearing loss and lost a lot because of it. He got tested, and Jessica Smith, audiologist at South Central Regional Medical Center, fitted Mr. Lindsey with a resound hearing aid that uses Bluetooth technology to wirelessly connect to his iPhone. He is now able to listen to music and take phone calls through the hearing aid. Dalynn Lindsey encourages anyone who is debating whether or not to get tested to go ahead and get tested because it is a minimal expense that can change your life.
