SCRMC | 4D Ultrasound and Heartbeat Animals

Posted on October 30, 2017

Dr. Rebecca Roberts, obstetrician gynecologist at OB-GYN group of Laurel, discusses personalized obstetrical care available SCRMC.  She states that 4D ultrasounds, although not necessary, are a perk offered at South Central Regional Medical Center.  Patients are able to get actual representations of their baby’s face.  Many patients are amazed that after the birth they see how similar the 4D ultrasound was.  This image allows expecting parents to see a detailed image of their baby in the womb.  Heartbeat animals are also offered now at SCRMC.  Heartbeat animals capture the sound of a baby’s heartbeat and create a keepsake that will be cherished forever.  Animals are available for patients at Ellisville OB-GYN Clinic and the OB-GYN group of Laurel; proceeds benefit the South Central Healthcare foundation.
