Illisia Hodge, RN, is an Intensive Care Unit nurse at South Central Regional Medical Center. As a nurse, Illisia believes in treating the person as a whole. “Providing care as a nurse means advocating for my patient, comforting my patient, teaching patients about their diagnosis and encouraging them through their journey,” says Illisia. “Healthcare is a rewarding job. I look forward to improving the health of each patient I treat.”

Illisia feels that consistent, quality care is what is provided at SCRMC. “Our team works cohesively to provide the best patient care. We care for each other and we care for our patients. This is what excellent care looks like to me.”
