SCRMC HealthBreak | Grief Counseling
Posted on February 5, 2018
Grief is a natural response to any major loss, and can be triggered by a variety of scenarios. Brett Cutrer, a therapist at South Central Behavioral Health Services explains that grief is any traumatic event you’ve gone through. Affective grief work is not done alone. Many feel as though grief is better managed alone, but in reality, you need a team of supporters. Cutrer states that to move past grief, you should process it so much that it doesn’t hurt you so badly to think about it.
Counseling can help. To schedule an appointment, call South Central Behavioral Health Services at (601) 426-9614.
