Join South Central Regional Medical Center for the 10th annual Art of Healing on Saturday, March 24th at the Gables in Laurel. The event will begin at 7:00 P.M. and will feature a silent auction, a live auction, a large array of food, beverages, music by Doctor Zarr’s Amazing Funk Monster, and much more. The South Central health care foundation hosts free health screenings and community health initiatives. Over the last year, thousands of area residents have participated in free programs offered through the South Central foundation. The cost of providing health screenings can be high, but South Central provides them as a service to the community. Screenings for life threatening conditions are offered free of charge because of the generous contributions made at the Art of Healing. The event will include live and silent auctions, wine pool, and a chance to win a diamond donated by Hill’s In-House Jewelers. The auction offers greater giving online bidding, allowing for a paperless bidding system. Guests can use their smartphones or tablet on silent auction items.
