Lunch and Learn with Dr. Grafton | May 4th

Posted on April 10, 2018

Join South Central Regional Medical Center on Friday, May 4th as Dr. Kenneth Grafton, Family Medicine Physician at South Central Family Medicine, discusses how to lower your risk for high blood pressure.

New guidelines for blood pressure rates were released by the American Heart Association in late 2017. The new guidelines will result in nearly half of the U.S. adult population (46 percent) having high blood pressure, with the greatest impact expected among younger people. Additionally, the prevalence of high blood pressure is expected to triple among men under age 45, and double among women under 45. Dr. Grafton will explain how this information plays a large factor in preventative healthcare.

Lunch will be served and includes: Chicken Fettuccine, Roasted Whole Green Beans, Garden Salad, Roll and Banana Split Pie. Registration is $8.50 and is required by May 1st. To register, please call 601-399-0506 or email kvanderslice@scrmc.com.
