Raven was selected as the Employee of the Month for January 2019. She is a Nursing Assistant on 2nd West and has been employed by South Central Regional Medical Center for 3 years. Raven said her favorite thing about working for South Central is, “meeting new people and working with the best work family on 2nd West.” Raven attended Raleigh High School. Raven said the proudest moments of her life have seeing the smiles on her patients’ faces when she has done everything she could for them. In her  free time, Raven enjoys attending church, watching movies, and spending time with loved ones. Her favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy and her favorite movie is The Color Purple. When asked who at SCRMC has influenced her to strive for excellence, Raven said, “I’ve had a lot of influence to strive for excellence at SCRMC. When I first began my job as a CNA, my fellow coworkers took me under their wings and taught me all of my skills.”
