South Central Regional Medical Center has developed a diabetes program. We are accepting all diabetic patients to aggressively manage their diabetes, using all of the new, wonderful tools, medications, training and teaching, that we have to manage diabetes effectively and reduce all of these terrible side effects and complications. Proper diet, exercise, and weight loss are the number one treatments. Having said that, this is a Golden Age treatment. There are so many new, excellent medications and techniques that we can use to improve diabetes control.
