Diabetes is a disorder of blood sugar levels. It occurs because insulin in the body does not work effectively. As a result, the body struggles to regulate blood sugar levels. There are so many medications available for diabetes that it can be difficult knowing which is best. Mark Horne, MD, SCRMC, will explain the different types of medication available, as well as their effects on the body.
South Central Regional Medical Center invites you to join us for an informative talk with Dr. Horne on Tuesday, June 11th at 1 p.m. The event will be held at South Central Place in Laurel and is free to the community.
