Ivey Receives Multiple Certifications

Kerri Ivey, Director of Accountable Care Organization/Population Health and Ambulatory Quality at South Central Regional Medical Center, has recently received multiple certifications for healthcare management. Ivey received certifications in Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Care Management (CMC) and as a Healthcare Risk Auditor (CHCRA).

  • A Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) is an international credential that demonstrates health quality and proficiency in health quality management.
  • A Care Manager Certified (CMC) is a health and human services specialist who serves as a guide for clients and families who are providing care for older relatives or disabled adults.
  • A Certified Healthcare Risk Auditor (CHCRA) is dedicated to excellence in quality education to comply with healthcare regulations for the health system.

Ivey began at South Central Regional Medical Center in 2002 as a nurse technician. She began her career as a registered nurse in 2013. She received an associate’s degree in nursing from Jones College, and a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree of nursing science from William Carey University. Ivey has patient care experience in ICU, ENT and Allergy, and Care Management treatment.
