SCRMC Emergency Department Driveway to Relocate to 13th Avenue Monday, July 8 at 11 a.m.
South Central Regional Medical Center officials stated that the driveway to the South Central Emergency Department will move Monday, July 8th at 11 a.m. The new location of the Emergency Department driveway will be located directly across from South Central Orthopedics which is west of the medical center.
Doug Higginbotham, President and CEO at South Central, said, “Minutes count when you have a life threatening emergency so it is important that we educate the community about the relocation of our Emergency Department driveway.” Area newspapers, television stations and radio stations have been provided the information and will help South Central spread the word.
Higginbotham closed by saying, “We have placed signs along the thoroughfare directing the public to the temporary entrance. This step is required to continue work on the new facility which will open in late 2019.”
