Learn About Wound Care Services at a Lunch and Learn on Friday, August 2.
In the United States, it is estimated that chronic wounds affect 6.7 million people and the rate is continuing to rise. Common factors that add to this are a combination of an aging population and increasing rates of diseases and conditions such as diabetes, obesity and the late effects of radiation therapy. If left untreated, chronic wounds can lead to diminished quality of life and possibly amputation of the affected limb.
South Central Regional Medical Center invites you to join us on Friday, August 2 as Rebecca Roberts, DO, from South Central Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine discusses options available locally to improve your quality of life from wound care treatment.
Lunch will be served and includes: grilled chicken breast, wild rice, roasted vegetable medley, homemade rolls, fresh fruit cup and beverages. Registration is $8.50 and is required by Tuesday, July 30. To register, please call 601-399-0506 or email kvanderslice@scrmc.com.
