When a patient comes to South Central Rehabilitation Services, care is provided through an interdisciplinary team that evaluates the patient and works to make an individual goal through all specialties to treat the patient’s need(s). Devin came to South Central’s speech therapy program needing cognitive, language, nutritional and feeding training. Over the course of treatment, Devin has transitioned from a patient needing intensive care to a young man that is much more independent and more appropriate to his age and comparative to his peers.
