In occupation therapy, we base our goals on what the patient wants to achieve. Each patient goal is different and we work with the patient and their caregivers to get the patient back to achieving the functions of daily living. In Devin Neal’s case, he had traumatic injuries from an ATV accident. However, Devin and his mother came to South Central’s occupational therapy with specific goals in mind.
