South Central Regional Medical Center welcomes Jeremy Unger, DO, to the Emergency Services Department.

Jeremy Unger, DO, completed his undergraduate degree at Florida Atlantic University in 2012. He completed his medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 2018. Following completion of medical school, Dr. Unger completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Merit Health Wesley in 2022.

During his time as a medical student, Dr. Unger served as Emergency Department Chief Resident, Resident Chair of Trauma Committee and EMRA Representative. He has also served as adjunct faculty at William Carey University and as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Lackey Memorial Hospital and Baptist Leake Hospital. He is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians.

Dr. Unger joined the Emergency Department team at SCRMC in August of 2022.
