Local resident, Shelia Sullivan, was recovering from a surgical procedure to remove cancerous cells in her body. Part of that included removing lymph nodes. After the surgery, Ms. Sullivan experienced issues and pain in her leg. Her physician recommended lymphedema therapy. Ms. Sullivan stated, “I have been receiving therapy for over a year and it has drastically improved my pain, swelling and quality of life. The staff at South Central Rehabilitation Services has been a blessing.”
