Caring Teen Volunteers | May 2024

Posted on April 26, 2024

Since 2018, South Central Regional Medical Center has offered a teen volunteer program in addition to its program for adult volunteers. The Caring Teen Volunteer Program allows local teenagers ages 16 to 18 to be provided volunteer opportunities. These students are able to observe and develop new skills, network with medical professionals, expand education in various career fields within the healthcare sphere, and to make new friends along the way.

In May 2024, SCRMC had twelve students volunteering across a wide range of areas. We are so thankful for the work these teens put in and we are happy those South Central to dedicate their time to!
