South Central is proud to bring back Translation Services. This service allows us to alleviate miscommunication between spanish-speaking patients and doctors, as well as provide patients with comfort in knowing they will not face a language barrier without assistance. Coordinator of Translation Services Maria Estes says, “We are here to serve all types of patients for all types of problems. We offer services to help [patients] so that the community is a healthy community. With this, we help the doctors so that they do not have any type of error and so that there is good communication.”

Our translators are available at the hospital on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on-call translators during nights and weekends.
