Laurel, Miss. — Aug. 5, 2024 — South Central Regional Medical Center welcomes Jacob Graham, MD, to the Cancer Center staff. Graham is a Jackson, Miss., native who obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry from Mississippi College and his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he then completed his residency in Internal Medicine.
Prior to his recently completed Hematology and Oncology fellowship, Graham completed a palliative care fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Throughout Graham’s career, he has served as not only a practicing physician but also a program director and professor. He served as Medical Director of Palliative and Supportive Care Services at Forrest General Hospital for six years while also serving as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at William Carey University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Graham also has education in other areas including business and ethics. He completed his Master of Arts in Bioethics at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He also obtained his Master of Business Administration from Auburn University.
“I feel extremely grateful for the opportunity to treat patients in the new Cancer Center at SCRMC,” said Graham. “It is my philosophy to approach each patient with kindness and focus on treating the whole person.”
Graham is a new physician at the recently renovated SCRMC Cancer Center, where his extensive oncological knowledge and holistic approach to patient care will be welcomed.
He joins Lisa K. Bond, MD; Sandeep Singh, MD; and CJ Dennis, FNP.
