The City of Laurel Signs a Home Care and Hospice Month Proclamation; South Central Celebrates
Representatives from South Central Regional Medical Center ComfortCare Home Health and Hospice were presented with an official mayoral proclamation denoting the City of Laurel’s recognition of National Home Care and Hospice Month.
According to the National Association for Home Care & Hospice website, this annual observance was designed as a way, “to inspire outreach to communities, media and policymakers, recognize the valuable contributions of provider staff and volunteers, and continue building awareness of the home care continuum.”
ComfortCare Home Health & Hospice is unique because it is not part of a national chain and is intrinsically connected to South Central Regional Medical Center, which means that patients who use their services have easy access to the hospital and its network of clinics.
“We are a local agency that is here to serve you,” said Dean Nickens, Director of ComfortCare Home Health & Hospice. “We focus on Jones County and the surrounding areas and are committed to providing personalized care to those we serve.”
South Central is proud to offer quality home health and hospice services to members of the community, and the organization is grateful to elected officials who recognize the importance of this type of specialty care.
