The SCRMC Internal Medicine Residency Clinic is now accepting patients!
What type of physician treats patients in the clinic?
This clinic is staffed by the new internal medicine residents. These individuals have each graduated from a licensed medical school and are undergoing extensive training in SCRMC’s Graduate Medical Education Program. While treating patients, residents will remain under direct supervision from one of the program’s core faculty members, who are current SCRMC physicians.
Who can be seen as a patient?
Any patient over the age of 18 who presents with a non-emergent, complex chronic condition can be seen by appointment only at the Internal Medicine Residency Clinic. Walk-in treatment is not available at this time.

Where is the clinic located?
The Internal Medicine Residency Clinic is located directly across from the hospital in the back of the South Central Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Pulmonary Medicine building. Clinic entrance faces S 12th Street.
How can physicians refer patients to the clinic?
Referrals can be made by calling 601-649-2863 or by faxing 601-518-7040. Referrals can also be made in Cerner by referring the patient to Internal Medicine and then indicating in the notes that the patient should be seen in the Internal Medicine Residency Clinic.
