For decades, our Maternal Child and Pediatric Floor has cared for families across Jones, Covington, Jasper, Smith, and Wayne counties—a region home to more than 30,000 children under 18. Now, this vital space is ready for renewal.

Our Goal: $1.7 Million

With your help, we will transform 27,000 square feet into a modern, family-centered environment designed to meet the growing needs of mothers, babies, and children.

Honor Your Guardian Angel

Celebrate Exceptional Care at South Central Regional Medical Center

At South Central Regional Medical Center, we believe in recognizing the individuals who make a difference every day. The Honor Your Guardian Angel program offers patients, families and colleagues a heartfelt way to say thank you to a staff member who provided exceptional care and compassion.

Whether it is a nurse who offered a comforting word, a physician who went the extra mile or a support team member who made your visit smoother, this program allows you to express your gratitude in a lasting and impactful way.

When you make a donation in honor of a caregiver, your Guardian Angel receives meaningful recognition for the impact they have made. Each honoree is presented with a personalized Guardian Angel Award Certificate and a note of thanks that includes your message of appreciation. For gifts of $50 or more, the honoree also receives a special angel lapel pin, serving as a visible symbol of their dedication to compassionate care.

To further honor extraordinary service, any employee recognized five or more times within a calendar year will receive a custom piece of artwork created by a local artist—an enduring tribute to their commitment to excellence.
