Derek A. Wierzbicki, MD, earned his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston Health Science Center in 2002 and completed his emergency medicine residency at Louisiana State University in 2006. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Hyperbaric and Undersea Medicine at Louisiana State University in 2007. Dr. Wierzbicki is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and will be joining the Emergency Department staff South Central and Magee General.
