Katie L. Cranston, MD, MPH, earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine in Jackson in 2022, and then completed a family and community medicine residency from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas in 2025. In addition to her medical training, Dr. Cranston also holds a Master of Public Health from the Thomas Jefferson University School of Population Health in Philadelphia and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Graduate Studies in Health Sciences.

Dr. Cranston will join the team at South Central Family Medicine Clinic on Feb. 23.
