Lakin Cooley, RN, is an Intensive Care Unit nurse at South Central Regional Medical Center. Lakin feels as though her time as a nurse at SCRMC has been rewarding. “It’s nice to be able to give comfort and reassurance to patients,” said Lakin. “I am with patients during a vulnerable time. I help advocate during stressful times.”

Lakin feels as though the quality of care is exceptional at SCRMC. “After working in various healthcare settings, SCRMC is one of the friendliest, caring facilities that I have had the pleasure to be a part of,” said Lakin. “The quality of patient care, innovative treatment and the constant expansion to meet the needs of the community are key reasons that I call SCRMC home. Administration shares the responsibility of hands-on total patient care to support our nursing staff, which cannot be found at every medical facility.”
