The internal transfer process is designed to make exploring new opportunities within SCRMC straightforward and transparent. 

Before You Begin: Important Information for Internal Applicants 

Please review the following guidelines before starting your transfer request: 

  • Email Registration:
    Registration requires a valid email address. If you don’t currently have one, you can create a free account at sites like Yahoo, Hotmail, or Gmail. You’ll need regular access to this account, as email will be the primary method of communication throughout the application and onboarding process. 
  • Browser Compatibility:
    If the application form isn’t opening, your browser may have popup blocking enabled. Check your browser settings or look for instructions online on how to disable your popup blocker. 
  • Application Tips:
    After registering in our system, you can apply for multiple positions by copying your most up-to-date application. Please make sure all details are current, including: 

    • Availability 
    • Contact information 
    • Work history 
  • Transfer Eligibility:
    Please review SCRMC’s Transfer policy (available on InfoRouter) to ensure you qualify. When you apply, your current department manager will be notified and asked to complete a brief questionnaire regarding your work history and performance. 

Employees may request a transfer if they meet the following conditions: 

  • Must meet the minimum qualifications of the desired position 
  • Must have been in their current position for at least six (6) months 

Note: The 6-month requirement may be waived if approved by the current Department Director or requested for extenuating circumstances by an Executive Officer or Human Resources.
