SilverSneakers Now Available at South Central Wellness Center

South Central Wellness Center, located at 1002 Jefferson Street in Laurel, is partnering to provide complementary memberships to members of the nationally recognized SilverSneakers^® program. Through this collaboration, South Central Wellness Center will now offer older adults more opportunities to increase their levels of physical activity while motivating them to remain active. SilverSneakers by Tivity Health^®, is the nation’s leading community fitness program designed exclusively for older adults.

SilverSneakers members can take part in live, instructor-led classes in a variety of lengths and formats that include strength training, cardio, meditation, aerobic and flexibility exercises. Members can use their membership for access to multiple locations and use the SilverSneakers^® GO mobile app, to enable them to be active wherever and whenever they choose to work out.

South Central Wellness Center is open 7-days a week. The facility provides aerobics, water aerobics, a gym floor with strength and conditioning equipment, an indoor pool, specialized programs for age groups and health conditions, and more amenities to all members.
