About our Providers:

Kelly Tullos, MD

Kelly Tullos, MD

Dr. Tullos is double-board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine.  Dr. Tullos is committed to helping patients find weight loss solutions that are safe, effective, and meant for the long-term.  She specializes in obesity medicine and is focused on providing comprehensive care of our patients. She assesses and treats patients to make lifestyle changes, provide medication, and coordinates care with other providers to provide the patient the best results possible.

Dr. Tullos completed an undergraduate degree from Mississippi College, and earned a M.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. She spent three years training at the family medicine residency at the University of Alabama College of Community Health Sciences and served as Chief Resident her final year. Upon returning to Mississippi following residency, Dr. Tullos began working at Laurel Family Clinic, owned and operated by South Central Regional Medical Center. She completed her board certification in obesity medicine in 2021.

 

Illisia Hodge, FNP-C

Illisia Hodge, FNP-C

Illisia Hodge, FNP-C, received her bachelor of science from Mississippi State University and completed her associate degree in nursing from Jones College. Illisia worked as a registered nurse in the ICU at SCRMC. Illisia furthered her career and completed her master of science in nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She has also served as an adjunct clinical instructor for William Carey University’s Bachelor of Nursing program.

Illisia has practiced as a nurse practitioner in since 2021. She has joined Kelly Tullos, MD, to offer medical weight management services to patients in our community. The practice provides treatment for chronic healthcare management, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, lifestyle counseling, nutrition counseling, medication management and other services.

 

 

 

South Central Primary Care Services is accepting new patients. Medicare, Medicaid and Most Commercial Insurance Plans are Accepted.
